Fury Bake™ Policy
Last Updated: November 14, 2025
By pre-ordering or purchasing from Fury Bake™, a Texas Cottage Law bakery, you agree to our policy, and acknowledge that all food products offered are produced in a private residence that is not subject to governmental licensing or inspection. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.
Quality
Every product is handmade-to-order fresh from scratch using the highest-premium, organic and/or wholesome and minimally-processed ingredients. I'm very picky about what products I use, so you'll only be getting the very best.
Allergens
It is the customer's responsibility to inform us of any allergies or food intolerances BEFORE ordering. This is an allergen-friendly residential kitchen, where gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame and more are prevalent, so we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. We properly disclose all allergens used intentionally in each product on our labels, as required by Texas Cottage Law, but due to shared surfaces and tools, please take caution. If you have any food allergies at all, we do not recommend you consume our goods - otherwise, if you choose to, you do so at your own risk.
Orders
Only pre-orders are accepted online, and only to the greater Houston area.(§)
Once an order is delivered or picked up, it is now the customer's sole responsibility to maintain the quality and safety-assurance of each product. You can find storage and reheating recommendations for various products here.
HOUSTON: Orders and order modifications must be completed a minimum 48 hours(⍟)(*) before delivery window, or minimum 4 days (by noon Tuesday) before the start of a scheduled weekend farmers market pop-up pickup.
(§)(⍟)PICKUP AT POP--UPS BEYOND THE GREATER HOUSTON AREA: Please contact us before placing an order for pickup at one of our weekend farmers market pop-ups scheduled in your area. Pre-orders for pickup at our scheduled pop-ups beyond Houston (i.e., Austin, Dallas, etc.), including any modification requests, must be submitted and paid for no less than 4 days (by noon Tuesday) before our appearance. Also, we are limited with how many temperature-controlled (refrigerated) items we can transport, so please contact us before ordering any goods labeled with "SAFE HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS."
(*)HOLIDAYS will have order and cancellation timeframes that vary, so please read all instructions as posted on the Menu and Online Order pages when they come available. We will also provide each holiday's specific details, policies and instructions via email subscription.
So we can share our furiously-loved goods throughout East and Central Texas, we are unable to accept orders for delivery between Thursday and Sunday of weekends we are scheduled to appear at a farmers market. If you contact us well enough in advance, however, we may sometimes be able to accommodate your request.
Cancellations
We understand: sometimes Murphy's Law happens to the best of us. But, please contact us immediately if you need to cancel an order already placed. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Online orders: Orders canceled within 48 hours(*)of delivery window (or local farmers market pop-up pickup date) are non-refundable, as product(s) will have already been assembled and/or completed.
Farmers Market Pickup: Orders canceled within 48 hours of the start of, or orders that are not picked up by the closing of, our scheduled farmers market pop-up appearance, are forfeited and non-refundable, and will result in products being donated, re-sold, or disposed of for health and safety. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please contact us to let us know if you're running late or can't make it so we can discuss your options. We would love for you to have your yummy pie!
(*)HOLIDAYS will have order and cancellation timeframes that vary, so please read all instructions as posted on the Menu and Online Order pages when they come available. We will also provide each holiday's specific details, policies and instructions via email subscription.
We're happy to try and work something out on a case by case basis, especially for emergencies, but please respect our extremely-limited ability to manage abandoned ingredients and products. We really don't like to waste food and resources, and we don't appreciate the wasting of our money and time.
Pickup and Long-Distance
Pickup will be available at a designated area (TBD via communications) in Sugar Land or Missouri City if you wish to pick up locally. Unfortunately, my home's HOA will not allow for direct home pickup by the public.
If you live outside the 30-mile delivery radius, I will gladly travel anywhere within a 50-mile radius from Sugar Land Town Square for a one-way flat fee of $5.
This is a Texas Cottage Law home bakery - we are unable to ship goods, no matter the location.
Rush Orders
If achievable (depending on the size of the order), rush-orders placed within 48 hours or less of requested delivery will incur a $25 fee up to $99 of purchased items, and an additional $10 for every $100+, and will require a non-refundable, 100% up-front payment. (Example: a rush-order of items costing between $100 and $199 will incur a $35 fee; a rush-order of items costing between $200 and $299 will incur a $45 fee; etc.)
I know my limitations, so I will inform you whether or not something can be achieved in a given time frame. Just contact us to see how and if we can accommodate your request.
Down-Time
Market Weekends: So we can share our furiously-loved goods throughout East and Central Texas, we are unable to accept orders for delivery between Thursday and Sunday of weekends we are scheduled to appear at a farmers market. However, special delivery arrangements during these time-frames can sometimes be made possible if you contact us ahead of time.
Sudden Events: If I am affected by an unforeseen illness, injury, or other emergency or event, I reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders until further notice.
Power Outages and Weather: We have a backup generator in place as provision for power outages, but it's not a guarantee. In the event of extensive power outages and/or times of severe weather, please anticipate delivery delays or cancellations with refunds upon extended blackouts, road closures, and/or unsafe travel conditions.
Refunds
All purchases with Fury Bake™ are final-sale. For food-safety purposes, we are unable to accept returns, and we cannot refund for taste-preference or improper handling. (Once an order is delivered or picked up, it is then the customer's sole responsibility to maintain the quality and safety assurance of each product. You can find storage and reheating recommendations for various products here.)
Still, please always give us feedback, and contact us if you find any issues with your purchased goods.
